AeroSTEM Fellowship

About

The AeroSTEM Fellowship is designed to provide interactive learning activities to young adults. The students will engage with lecturers in an Initial seminar, and continuous improvement activities throughout the year. During the Initial Seminar, students will be provided materials such as manuals to build an RC Aircraft on the second day. The manuals will act as a tool for throughout the program. Care should be taken to lessen the damage on the manuals. During the third day, the students will tour the airport operations to gain first-hand knowledge of Airport Operations.

Upon completion of the Initial Seminar, students will continue through the second portion of this Three-Step Program. During the step two, students will continuously engage with Subject Matter Experts. They will be provided four graded assignments per year. The accumulation of the grades will be the determinant of the Project Sunshine Annual Scholarship.

The Student Mentor Program, the third and final step, will run concurrently to step two. The Student Mentors will be paired with an Initial Seminar student, practicing critical leadership skills throughout the learning environment.
